1983 Kawasaki KZ550 Restoration

My first motorcycle, bought for $700, engine overhauled, wheels, brakes, chopped and painted in 2 weeks. Not meant to be perfect, it was an excellent and fun learning experience 

After removing the rear fender, I decided to replace the existing taillight and turn signals with modern LEDs. I designed this mounting bracket to bolt into existing holes in the frame and utilize standard metric fasteners to secure it to the frame and the new LED lights to the bracket. I 3D printed it, finished, primed and painted the part and installed using the built in wire management for a sleeker and better performing taillight.
